It's really over.

I want you lot to know I'm not copying Harry when I say thank you. But really, thank you. I'm not really sure when I start to really lead the Order - well, I do and it was when I became acting Minister for Magic, but it was never my intention. We've always been a body of equals in my eyes, and I think that was something Albus taught all of us. We've been through two wars together, lost more people close to us than anyone should ever have to, endured countless hardships... and yet, we have stuck together and never given up.

There is no real reason for the Order of the Phoenix now. Our duty has been done, our purpose is gone. For there to be no need of us should be something that we celebrate, but I know it will be bittersweet. I'd like one last meeting, at the Burrow if Molly's all right with that after everyone's out of St. Mungo's. Not just for us, but for the rest of the Order too. The ones that have already left us.

But shiiiiiit you lot - we might have no need for the Order, but I doubt I can keep you all out of my life if I tried. Christmas party at mine and Dedalus', if he's all right with that too. Molly, if you don't bring your famous casserole I might have to pull a Fudge on you. Perce, I won't ask you to be my date this time - I've already got one. Fleur, you can't hog holding Teddy too much either, got it? Harry might cry. Hope you all can make it. I'll have to figure out a date soon.

One last thing - the Wizengamot's asked me to stay on as Minister, permanently. I think I'm going to accept.

Were you injured?

I've received word from a reliable source (and don't ask me who, I'm not telling you) that the fugitive Death Eaters are going to be attacking the Ministry this coming Monday afternoon.

Defending the Ministry is clearly our first priority, but given that they'll be on our pitch and that we know about this in advance, if we play our cards right there is no reason we can't capture every last one of them. I'm told there are about 20 between the Death Eaters, werewolves and the vampires, and between the DMLE, the Order and the DA we have more than that. And, again, if we do this right, it could be the end of them. So shiiiiit let's give this everything we've got.

I'm working to get more details on the Death Eater's plans but in the meantime we need to formulate our own plan and I want all of your ideas. And quick.

I want aurors, hitwizards and MLES watching the homes of every person who is writing to Dolohov and their families for the next few days.

If you're off duty, you may be called in so please keep yourself available (this should go without saying but no drinking; Timms I mean you). Robards or your department head will contact you if you're needed to go in.

I've received a name from Bulstrode, one we haven't heard before yet connected to the Death Eaters. Bulstrode says the person isn't there but they're in contact, so he's assisting them it seems. Warned them about tagging, got supplies, etc.

I don't want to label him as a Death Eater outright because I won't risk them finding out we have a spy. Not this early in the game.

Ideas on how we can use this to our advantage without giving away Bulstrode?

To clear up any confusion, there will be a memorial service tomorrow for Miss Burke. I'm not sure what happened, but one was definitely planned all along and I'm looking into where the mistake was made that announced just a moment of silence.

And to clear up a few more things:
- the Ministry does care that Miss Burke is dead. It is a tragedy for anyone to lose their life, especially at that age, and her House and whom she is related to does not change that.
- the Ministry does care about Slytherins.
- I don't know anyone in the Ministry who thinks purists should die and I know almost everyone in the Ministry.
- there is no conspiracy and I don't know what sort of conspiracy there could be.
- I do not live in my office anymore.

We need to talk.

Three days until the award ceremony and it's probably a good thing we've been running behind because due to recent events I've decided not to release the time or location until Friday. I'm still trying to spend as much time as I can in the DMLE though I've got a few other projects on my plate as well as some budgeting rubbish things to go through, so I'm going to need you lot to be really vigilant about this.

Percy, I need you to contact our metalsmith and make sure we'll have the medals by Thursday morning. Then I need you to visit archives and see what you can dig up on past Ceremonies because I'd like to keep tradition on this as much as I can.

Draco, I need you to check the progress of the undersecretaries who are working on the program. I know they don't have all the information for it yet but I want to make sure they've made progress on the recipient list.

Terry, I need you to contact Millicent Bagnold to see if she is still willing to speak and we need someone to sing at this. There's a list drafted of potential singers but they haven't been contacted yet so send a few owls out and see what we hear back.


And can someone find out who announced that we're only having a moment of silence for Burke and not a memorial service? I'm guessing it was just miscommunication butwe can't afford to make mistakes like that in this office.

Percy, I've got this dinner to go to Friday night. Real important people, I've got to make a good impression. But I can't find a date.

Savage, I'm going to be frank - your daughter is going to come up in this conversation. I would like your opinion, but I also need you to be calm and if any of this is going to be difficult for you in any way, you don't have to do it. That's all right.

You've both read Harry's entry to us, but both Harry and Bobbin were talking to me under wards so I want to give you a brief rundown of what went on.

Melinda Bobbin made a ward to the entire MWP, which Bulstrode replied to. A conversation which I presume was about Ruby happened, and Bulstrode told Bobbin that the events of last Saturday were not a planned attack but Greyback acting on his own. Given that Bobbin and Ruby seemed to have been friends - or Ruby trusted Bobbin enough to divulge her 'deal' with Greyback, I see no reason why this is not the truth. Somewhere in the conversation, Bobbin urged Bulstrode to make a deal with us and Bobbin told Bulstrode she would contact me, since she and I have been in contact in the past. Which is true.

Bobbin went to Harry instead, who she's been in much more frequent contact since the incident last month and the death threats from Greyback. We have documentation on this if you need to review it. Harry then came to us.

I'd like to hear your thoughts on this matter. While there is a large that this could be a ploy, it also could be the very thing we've been looking for to put the rest of the Death Eaters away for good. While I do not wish to make any decision without looking at it from all angles, we know that the death threats against Bobbin are real and I cannot see any reason for her to be deceiving us, especially after the deaths what happened this weekend.

So, thoughts?

I've just told the DMLE that they're going to ignore the whole "vigilantism is illegal" thing. They need us now and if we have to we're going to work together. I am not saying that anyone is giving up group autonomy, but we're all working toward the same goal and if we need back-up, we need to not have to worry about getting in trouble for what we're doing, and they need our help too. If you're having any issues with them, you let me know and I'll handle it.

Harry and Terry, we need to talk.

Listen up this is important. It's clearly apparent that even our heightened security isn't doing its job. We have a list of likely targets and they're still getting through. We need to do more but we don't have the manpower.

So listen up. New policy. We're going to be turning a blind eye to the vigilantes. Actually, we're going to be doing more than that. We're going to be working with them when it's necessary. And I don't want a single complaint out of any one of you because you all know I'm right that we need them. And honestly, they won us this war. I'm not saying anything against you lot - I know you were protecting your families or on the run or in Azkaban and your sacrifices for this country are valuable, I'm just saying that these people are 100% on the same side we are and have the exact same goals, and they're fully capable. I will vouch for them all myself, and I'm under no misconception that you all don't know my other allegiances.

I've been talking with Gawain, and we're going to start having nightly patrols. In pairs, and you're going to go out to the homes of everyone on the list. We can't guard everyone personally as much as I'd like to, but given that these kids were attacked when they were home alone means that Greyback might have been waiting. So you'll be looking for disturbances and any trace of a Death Eater or traces of magic in the area. We're going to stop these before they happen.

And we're probably going to get the Order of the Phoenix involved in all this too. Maybe Dumbledore's Army, I'm not sure. They're young but they're of age. I want to know what you think about that though.

First off, I want to say thanks to you all for the countless hours you've been putting in these last few weeks. Sadly, you'll probably have to keep putting in ridiculous hours, but it's still appreciated.

We all know we can't expect the attack of the charity date auction to be the last. It wasn't the first, and losing two of their rank is only going to make them more desperate. They're targeting people - do we have a list of potential targets? If not I'd like one made ASAP and I'd like extra security measures for everyone on that list. Obviously a number of Ministry workers should be on there, all members of Dumbledore's Army, the Order of and anyone who fought at Hogwarts in May or was on the run or in hiding from defying Voldemort's administration, plus all their family members. That's not all though. If there's a list though, ace! Let me know and I'd like to see it this afternoon. If there isn't we can start listing names here and I'll talk about what we can do with this list later.


Sorry I'm not sending this the official way but I'm in Copenhagen right now meeting with the Chairperson for the International Confederation of Wizards' Quidditch Committee. I'll be back by 3. Walden, Cassidy and Alastor - I'd like a short meeting at 3:30 if you can.

Eleven deaths.

The DMLE's about wrapping things up with paperwork but that doesn't mean it's over. I'm real sorry for everyone's losses and I wish we could all take some time to mourn without having to think about the Order and the DA, but I don't think we can. They targeted us - the Order and the DA and the DMLE - and they'll do it again.

We need a plan. Any and all ideas will be considered. The DMLE can't do this alone and I don't think we want to let them anyhow. They've been busting their arses since May, staking out old DE homes and businesses, questioning old acquaintances, watching Gringott's vaults, following every single lead we get even if it's the same little old witch who claims to see a Lestrange buying carrots at the corner market every Sunday, and combing through forests and abandoned homes, but a lot of good people in that department have been killed in the last year and a lot were too Death Eater friendly to keep, so they're severely understaffed. They're doing more than I should have the right to ask of them, but it's not enough. And the biggest problem is that even though we should have an advantage in knowing who they are, they know who we are too.

I don't want to ask us to work with the DMLE or anything, don't get me wrong. If we need them, I can get them to help us, but I'm not asking us to work with them.

So. Ideas.

We have reports of 4 Dark Marks last I heard. So far it seems to be all relatives of people who fought in the Hogwarts Battle. I suggest you all go check on your families.
